Publication Scheme Guide to Information

Publication Scheme Guide to Information

In order to comply with the Freedom of Information Act public sector organisations such as ours routinely publish information whenever possible.

This Publication Scheme Guide to Information gives details of what information we make available in this way. To make it easier to search, the information has been divided into 7 categories (or classes) relating to the Trust.

The Classes of information:

Who we ar
e and what we do.

Organisational information, locations and contacts, constitutional and legal governance.

What we spend and how we spend it.
Financial information relating to projected and actual income and expenditure, tendering, procurement and contracts.

What our priorities are and how we are doing.
Strategy and performance information, plans, assessments, inspections and reviews.

How we make decisions.
Policy proposals and decisions. Decision making processes, internal criteria and procedures, consultations.

Our policies and procedures.
Current written protocols for delivering our functions and responsibilities.

Lists and registers.
Information held in registers required by law and other lists and registers relating to the functions of the authority.

The services we offer.
Advice and guidance, booklets and leaflets, transactions and media releases. A description of the services offered.

Definition Document for NHS Organisations

The Information Commissioner has published a ‘Definition Document for NHS Organisations’ which sets out in detail the minimum that we should make available. The available information is continually updated to ensure we are compliant with the Definition document. You will be able to see where we don’t hold relevant information or where for some reason we have decided not to routinely disclose information identified in the Definition document by referring to our Publication Scheme.
