The group took part in a reminiscence project, and went on a visit to Ulster Folk Museum Cultra. They used clothing through the decades to trigger memories of what they wore as children and what type of work they did.

Reminiscence is a process of thinking, recalling or telling of events or time in a persons or a groups past by oral, artistic or other forms of expression. Reminiscence encourages people with dementia to interact with others and build friendships
The twelve ladies who participated thoroughly enjoyed the experience and based their artwork ‘wash day’ the hangings reflect various items of clothing they remember from their childhood.
