Promoting an Anti-fraud Culture

As a public body, the Trust must ensure proper use of the public money that it has been allocated.

One of the ways we make sure this happens, is to promote an anti-fraud culture which requires all staff to act with honesty and integrity at all times and to take appropriate steps to safeguard resources.

Educating Staff
The Trust has developed a Fraud Response Plan which provides guidance to staff on what to do if fraud activity is suspected or detected. We also provide Fraud Awareness Training that is available to all staff.

A poster has been produced and is being displayed in hospitals and health centres to ensure that both staff and the public know who to contact if fraud is suspected or detected.

You can view a copy of the poster here.

Dedicated Email
If you suspect a fraud, you can report it by emailing Fraud@belfasttrust.hscni.net
