Chairman’s Awards – Winners Announced!
The Belfast Trust Chairman’s Awards celebrate innovation and service development by recognising ground-breaking health and social care projects that are taking place in the Trust.
At a recent ceremony representatives of the sixteen shortlisted entries in the Chairman’s Awards joined together to hear the winners announced.
Acting Chair, Professor Eileen Evason presented the winners in each category with a perpetual trophy, certificate and a cheque for £10,000 to reinvest in their services. Second and third placed projects in each category received a cheque for £3,000 and £2,000 respectively, to reinvest in their service.
The five winning projects, were selected for their ability to bring real benefits to patients and clients who use our services. With more than 50 entries in total, the Awards show our commitment to improving health and wellbeing for everyone and by working in partnership with others, to deliver high quality care.
This is also an opportunity to recognise that Belfast Trust staff are of the highest calibre and display dedication, quality and enthusiasm as they continuously make a contribution over and above their contracted obligations.
More than 50 entries were received in the five categories which reflect the Trust’s five corporate objectives.
