Could YOU adopt Matthew and Alice?

The Regional Adoption & Fostering Service is assisting Trusts with finding adopters for children waiting to be adopted

We are undertaking a child specific recruitment campaign for twins called Matthew and Alice and hope to maximise the chance of finding a family who can give them the love, care and attention they need.

Read about Matthew and Alice*

Matthew and Alice are twins aged two who have lived in foster care since they were born.
They are loving affectionate children who have a very special bond with one another. They have a packed social life, enjoying Mums and Tots, Funky Monkeys and trips to the park. The children are active and inquisitive and have developed positive attachments to their foster family.
Despite a delay in development, both children have made significant physical progress and are receiving support from professionals to meet their changing needs. Both Matthew and Alice, need a robust and supportive family who can accept some uncertainty in relation to their future. Alice has demonstrated some autistic tendencies which will be monitored. Matthew has core strength delay. They are both walking extremely well and their speech is progressing.
Although the general prognosis is unclear, the pair have high levels of resilience and determination in their physical and language development.

Don't Rule Yourself Out

We urgently need to find the right adoptive family for Matthew and Alice. They need an energetic two parent family who can offer them the time, love and care they require to reach their full potential. Share Matthew and Alice's journey through life.
An information evening will be held in Belfast on Tuesday 10 June 2014.

If you feel you have what it takes to give Matthew and Alice the time, love and care they require, then we would love to hear from you. (*not real names).
