Diversity photographic exhibition launched

Chief Executive, Colm Donaghy, launched the Musgrave Park Hospital element of the “Through the Lens” photography project.

The project used digital photography to explore the theme of “Diversity” and in his address Colm Donaghy expressed the importance of recognising, respecting and celebrating diversity within, and beyond the Trust.

The Musgrave Park Hospital group which took part in the project comprised members and supporters of UNISON and came from all areas of staff within the Trust. The project has been run by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) working with the Workers Educational Association (WEA), and has been supported by Belfast City Council.

Pictured at the launch are the group members along with Colm Donaghy, Gladys Brown (Chair, Greenpark Health Branch, UNISON), Clare Moore (ICTU) and Diarmuid Moore (WEA).

The Musgrave exhibition will be available to see in the ArtsCare display outside Withers 6, Musgrave Park Hospital, until the end of May 2011.

The full “Through the Lens” exhibition will be on display in the Golden Thread Gallery, Great Patrick Street, Belfast from 12 May, and forms part of the ICTU May Day Festival, 2011.
