In 2016 Belfast Trust was awarded the Investor in People Bronze Award. Bronze accreditation is a significant achievement for an organisation of the size and complexity of Belfast Trust, and is an independent international benchmarkassessment of our performance through people, reflecting the commitment and passion of our staff

Belfast Trust achieved the Investors in People national quality standard in 2010 and successfully re-accreditated in 2013.  Our progress to the Bronze Award shows a commitment to continually reflect, learn and improve in order provide the best possible health and social care for our patients and service users.

What is the Investors in People (IIP) Standard?

The standard provides a framework that helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the effective management and development of their people.

For us to succeed in our organisational mission, we need to ensure that all of our people have the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently. The standard helps us to do this by providing a framework for us to assess and further develop our people processes and approaches.
