Join HSC LGB&T Staff Forum at the Belfast Pride Parade

The HSC LGB&T Staff Forum invites you to join them at the Belfast Pride parade on Saturday August 1st. This year Belfast Pride celebrates 25 years and in that time there have been many positive changes for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender people.

The Pride parade leaves Custom House Square and offers an opportunity for staff to stand alongside LGB&T colleagues to continue to promote an inclusive society.

There are over 100 events as part of the Pride festival which are open to all including music, comedy, debate, drama, art, health and wellbeing To find them on the day look out for the Unison sails as they will be nearby.

The Forum has received a great response at our hospital information stalls and has distributed over 600 rainbow lanyards so staff can show support for LGB&T colleagues, patients and their families. Forum members have also been promoting the elearning module which counts towards KSF and professional registration. The Forum is endorsed by all of the trade unions and Trust management with admin support from the Public Health Agency.
