New Health Minister Edwin Poots helped our Chairman and Chief Executive underline the wash your hands infection control message when he paid a visit to the Cancer Centre yesterday.

The Minister, joined by Permanent Secretary Andrew McCormick, Chairman Pat McCartan and Chief Executive Colm Donaghy, spoke to staff and patients at the centre ahead of a decision expected on Monday around the future of cancer services in Altnagelvin.
