The Media Office is responsible for all press and media relations on behalf of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
Office hours
During office hours, all media enquiries should be directed to the Media Office on Telephone: (028) 9504 4500 where they will be evaluated and dealt with appropriately. This is particularly important in ensuring that information given about the Belfast Trust and our patients is accurate, consistent and up to date. Contact details for the Media Office
Out-of-hours and weekends
Outside office hours the on-call Press Officer will deal with enquiries from journalists. The duty Press Officer can be contacted via the Knockbracken switchboard tel on 028 9056 5656.
Condition reports
Patient condition reports should be referred to the Media Office during office hours on Telephone: (028) 9504 4500 or via the Knockbracken switchboard Telephone: (028) 9056 5656 out of hours. Please note that with requests for patient information the Media Office first needs to seek consent from the patient/relatives. Without consent, no patient information can be disclosed.
