Information and Support

The service aims to ensure that people affected by cancer have access to high quality, accurate and timely information and support. All patients, their relatives, carers and friends from throughout Northern Ireland can use the service which is also open to Trust staff.

In a comfortable, non-clinical environment visitors to the service are given a warm welcome and offered a listening ear by an experienced Macmillan professional and a small team of trained and dedicated volunteers.

As well as high quality information and support, the service offers access to benefits and financial advice by specialist advisors and links to local support services.

There is also an information zone stocked with free booklets, audio-visual and electronic resources. Some resources are available in different languages and some formats may be suitable for people with special needs.

Opening Hours

The service offers a drop-in facility on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 12.30pm and Wednesdays 1pm – 4pm with no appointments needed.
