Volunteer Stories

2011 is the European Year of Volunteering, and Volunteers Week which runs from 1-7 June is an opportunity to acknowledge the difference our volunteers have made in the different ways they serve the community and help enrich the lives of many.

On this page, four volunteers share their story, describing their personal journey of why they became a volunteer, what they do, and the rewards it brings.
