West Belfast Festival Annual Lecture


Belfast Health and Social Care Trust is sponsoring a lecture and discussion on setting a minimum price for alcohol to help address the widespread problems caused by alcohol misuse and discuss the arguments put forward against this policy at this year's West Belfast Festival. 


The lecture entitled 'A Minimum Unit Price for Alcohol - evidence for it and the forces against it', will be delivered by Professor Sir Ian Gilmore, Specialist in Liver Disease and Honorary Consultant Physcian at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.


The lecture will take place at 5.00pm on Tuesday 6 August in St Mary's College, Falls Road, Belfast
