Young Adult Room recently opened at Cancer Centre

The last of four ‘day rooms’ which have been refurbished with assistance from Friends of the Cancer Centre, was officially opened by Cool FM’s Pete Snodden, Patron of Friends of the Cancer Centre.

Feedback from staff, patients and their families has been very positive. The rooms were extensively used last Christmas to enable patients and their families to enjoy the festive season together.

This last room is specifically for teenagers and young people as a place for them to have some time away from the ward while receiving treatment.
