Car Parking Information

Parking:

Car parking is available in the new multi-storey car park at the Donegall Road entrance hosting 1100 spaces. Please note there are no disabled car park spaces in this car park.

Car parking is also available in the multi-storey at the front of the Tower where the ground floor is completely dedicated to 55 disabled car park spaces. An additional car park is located to the right of the multi-storey facility and there is a further smaller public car park outside Accident & Emergency with 7 dedicated disabled parking spaces.

The Trust encourages, where possible, patients, visitors and staff to use public transport.

Cars parked in unauthorised areas may be clamped as it is essential that ambulances and fire tenders have unobstructed access at all times.

There is a car parking charge. On entering a car park the barrier system will issue a ticket. The driver must visit a pay station to pay for parking before returning to the car. The pay stations will give change and the barrier has an intercom button in case of difficulty. Pay machines are located in the main foyer of the Tower.

No vehicles should be left unattended outside the Tower Block. Clamping is in operation and a release fee of £20 applies.

Disabled Access

It is regrettable that presently, due to the construction work progressing on the new Regional Cancer Centre, our designated disabled parking spaces at the front of the Tower are required to be used by the Ambulance Service to set down and collect patients. Alternative disabled parking spaces have been made available in the multi-storey car park to compensate for this. Disabled parking is also available at the side and back of the Tower Block.

Note:

There is absolutely no private or public car parking on the Main Concourse.

Notice:

All vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.
