Wakehurst Building Location The Day Hospital is located towards the rear of the Belfast City Hospital campus in the Ground floor of the Wakehurst Building and it is adjacent to the Osteoporosis Clinic.
Common Services Falls Service A specialist multidisciplinary falls assessment clinic and falls prevention programme has been developed in the Day Hospital of the Belfast City Hospital. Referrals have been limited to suitable older people who have attended A&E because of a fall and other patients referred to the Older Persons Team. Other services Medical/ nursing assessment including assessment, wound assessment by tissue viability nurse specialist, health promotion assessment, medication assessment, dietician referral, speech & language therapy referral.
