Ward staff will arrange the following before you leave the hospital: A Discharge Medical Certificate (if needed) A 3-day supply of medicines (if needed) A visit from the Community Nurse at home (if needed)

You should arrange for family or friends to collect you from the hospital. If you have any problems or concerns after you leave hospital, you should contact your family doctor (GP).

Medical Certificates

Your nurse can give you a medical certificate if you need it. The certificate will be dated the day of your admission.
