ServicesDay Ward / Biologic Therapies Assessment Unit This unit was established as a result of advances in the management of severe arthritis and the introduction of new biologic therapies. Patients attend the unit for complex assessments and treatments which cannot be conducted in an outpatient clinic and do not require an overnight stay.
Inpatient Services This unit provides full inpatient facilities for patients who require more intensive therapy. Outpatient Services There are a small number of outpatient clinics at Musgrave Park Hospital:
Other rheumatology clinics are held at Belfast City Hospital and the Royal Group of Hospitals. FacilitiesThe Regional Rheumatology Service is based at Musgrave Park Hospital. The day ward / biologics unit has 12 beds. The inpatient unit has 30 beds in a mixed adult ward.
