Getting there
By Car Forster Green Hospital is situated in south Belfast, at the junction of the Saintfield Road and the Upper Knockbreda dual carriageway. Limited car parking is available at Forster Green Hospital. Please respect parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities. Metro Bus run regular services from the City Centre towards Forster Green. Routes 7A and 7B travel along the Ormeau Road and goes past the Saintfield Road entrance to the Hospital. Route 6 travels along the Cregagh Road, and around the outer ring. Get off the bus at Forestside Shopping Centre. The main hospital is a 5 minute walk from here. Ulsterbus routes 15,18 and 20 also stop near the main entrances. Please check bus timetables with Translink before travelling. Timetable information: 028 9066 6630 If you live outside the Belfast area, you may choose to travel into the city by rail. There is no train station near Forster Green Hospital, however it is possible to catch the Metro route 6 bus (direction Forestside) opposite the main entrance to Central Railway station Belfast City Airport is within easy reach of the Hospital (20 minutes by road) and has regular domestic flights. Belfast International Airport (40 minutes by road) has regular scheduled flights around Ireland and to the United Kingdom, Europe and International destinations.
