Patient-Visitor Facilities

Reception/Information Desk

A reception desk is located at the main entrance to the Withers building.  It is open from 7.30am to 4.30 pm

Chaplains /Church

Illness of any kind can be a very worrying and isolating experience to have to endure – both for patients and their family too. They may find themselves feeling different emotions and any number of thoughts and questions may be going through their mind.

Chaplains visit wards regularly and have time to listen and reflect. They are interested in people’s journey and seek to support the hospital community by their presence and prayers. The service we offer is confidential and non-judgmental and is available to everyone, irrespective of faith or background.

Hospital Church

The beautiful hospital church is located on the corridor between Withers and Meadowlands.

Dedicated in 1997 as a place of worship, the church is open every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Everyone is welcome to come to the church for private prayer and reflection, and to share in the services.
