Building Works At The Royal

Building Works At The Royal

You may have noticed a lot of construction work at the Royal Victoria Hospital recently.

The work is necessary so we can prepare for the building of a new Critical Care Centre at the hospital. We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Access to the Outpatient services

For the safety of patients, visitors and staff, it will no longer be possible to use Johnstone Road to drop off passengers for the Eyes and ENT building or the Outpatient Centre. These services should now be accessed via

• the Falls Road Outpatient centre entrance or

• the main entrance to the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Extra portering staff will be available at the main entrance to assist patients with mobility problems. Additional signage will be erected and staff will be available to assist in guiding patients and escorts to the appropriate locations.
