Visiting HoursThe trust recognises the value which patients place on receiving visits from family members and friends. These visiting times reflect the needs of patients, particularly their need for rest and privacy at certain times of the day. Visitors will be asked to leave the ward at meal times or special ward rounds. It is suggested that relatives and friends should visit from:
If, due to personal constraints or particular circumstances, your relatives need to visit outside these times, please make arrangements with the ward sister or nurse in charge. Young Children and Babies Children must be kept under supervision at all times during visiting and it is recommended that young babies are not brought into the wards. Postal Services Incoming letters and parcels are delivered to the wards twice daily. To avoid delay in receiving mail, please tell friends and relatives to include your ward in their address. |
