Ward staff will arrange the following before you leave the hospital: A Discharge Medical Certificate (if needed) A 3-day supply of medicines (if needed) A visit from the Community Nurse at home (if needed)

You should arrange for family or friends to collect you from the hospital. If you have any problems or concerns after you leave hospital, you should contact your family doctor (GP). Orthopaedic patients should ring Musgrave Park Hospital on 028 9066 9501 and ask for the ward they stayed on.

Medical Certificates

Your nurse can give you a medical certificate if you need it. The certificate will be dated the day of your admission.
