| Voluntary Services at Muckamore |
For many years there has been a rich tradition of volunteering at Muckamore Abbey Hospital, where a wide range of volunteers give of their time and energy for the benefit of the patients and assist the staff in providing numerous activities.
• Evening Activities
• Ward Visits
• Music Evenings
• Assisting with Ward Outings
• Canine Visiting
• Assisting at the Swimming Pool
There is also a befriending scheme for patients who do not have regular visits.
Guidelines
1. Completion of Application Form
2. Visit to Muckamore Abbey Hospital and Interview
3. Vetting
4. Placement - with aim to befriend (if applicable)
5. Meal Voucher available whilst on site during daytime hours
6. Expenses may be available
