The directorate provides occupational health services, health and safety, and health promotion activity through a consultancy and advisory service to all Royal Hospital directorate and externally to a range of public and private sector organisations.

The specialst business health services team, which provides unrivalled experience and expertise is playing a major role in helping local employers overcome many workplace health related problems. On offer is advice, health checks, pre-employment screening, health promotion and specially tailored health and safety training.
