Neurobehavioural Rehabilitation Unit (Brain Injury)
Service Provided
This 12 bedded male neurobehavioural rehabilitation unit, provides a regional service for people who as a result of brain injury, show challenging behaviour at a level which means their needs cannot be met in other settings, as their behaviours could put themselves or other people at risk. The unit provides ‘post acute’ rehabilitation, slow stream rehabilitation and long term care.
Accessing the Service:
All admissions must be approved by the Senior Consultant, but referral can be made by GPs
