Memory Clinics
Memory clinics provide an assessment service for individuals who are experiencing memory problems. This will help to identify possible treatable causes for memory difficulties or where appropriate provide a diagnosis of dementia. This may involve more than one visit to the clinic which can be lead by either a doctor or a nurse.
Memory clinics work very closely with Community Mental Health Teams for Older People who will provide any relevant information advice and support following your visit to the clinic.
