Mental Health Day Care Services

The Trust provides most of its day support services through
eight day centers located across Belfast. Four of these centres are directly managed by the Trust and another four are funded by the Trust and provided by the voluntary sector.

Directly Managed Centres

Ravenhill Day Centre – is situated on the Ravenhill Road on the border of
East and South Belfast, this large modern purpose-built day centre caters for
people with mental illness and has some places for people with physical disability.
It has an extensive programme of outreach activities and evening
support groups.

Whiterock Day Centre provides assessment and rehabilitation services to
people with mental health problems and is located in the centre of a large
local catchment of the population of West Belfast.

Everton Day Centre provides assessment and rehabilitation services to people with mental health problems and is located in the Everton Centre in North Belfast.

The voluntary sector centres are:

  • Beacon House in East Belfast (NIAMH Bloomfield Avenue),
  • Aspen (NIAMH Finaghy Road South)
  • Club 37 (Mindwise Annsgate House Ann Street) and
  • New Horizons (AMH Duncrue).

How to access the service

Referrals to this service can only be made by other Community Mental Health Professionals.
