Trauma Advisory Panel
The Eastern Trauma Advisory Panel (ETAP) strives to improve the development and co-ordination of services which address the needs of those affected by the ‘troubles.’
ETAP works across the area covered by both Belfast Trust and South Eastern Trust and it includes representatives from nearly 40 organisations from the voluntary, community, and statutory sectors, as well as people who use our services.
Sudden Death & Traumatic Bereavement
ETAP have produced a comprehensive series of booklets which give information and advice on trauma and bereavement. These booklets contain information for children and adults following a sudden death in the family or community, as well as practical guidelines and suggestions for dealing with difficult reactions that may occur at different times.
The booklets available are:

This book offers guidance to those supporting people who have experienced a traumatic bereavement and includes a section on self-care for professionals.
